Foot and Ankle Injuries

We treat major and minor foot injuries and ankle injuries.

The human foot takes a pounding every day. The average human will walk about 110,000 miles in their lifetime. As such, it is not surprising that foot injuries and ankle injuries are so common.

From simple problems like ingrown toenails, stepping on a foreign object or contusions, to more serious injuries like deep lacerations, ankle sprains, fractures and joint dislocations, we can help. Our on-site digital x-ray allows us to immediately identify fractures, dislocations and other bone pathology. In addition, Dr. Kaufman is board certified in foot surgery and has privileges at both Alaska Regional Medical Center and Providence Alaska Medical Center, should your injury require more urgent surgical care.

If you or someone you know has suffered a foot or ankle injury, please contact Anchorage Foot & Ankle Clinic. We can usually schedule same-day appointments for emergencies, or next-day appointments for less urgent situations.
