A board-certified surgeon and fellow through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. David Archibald, DPM, FACFAS, specializes in both surgical and conservative management of the lower extremity.

Our practice provides complete foot and ankle care. Whether it is an urgent case or long-term solution, we offer everything from conservative treatment to advanced limb-salvaging surgery, a complex procedure performed by only a few surgeons in Alaska.

Dr. Archibald's expertise includes trauma care (fractures, tendon and ligament ruptures), arthroscopic surgery, Charcot reconstruction, flatfoot reconstruction, limb salvage, and joint replacement. He is also highly experienced in sports medicine, bunion correction, hammertoe repair, and other foot and ankle deformities. Dr. Archibald incorporates advanced techniques such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP), bone marrow aspiration for stem cell therapy, and amniotic grafts to help expedite healing and improve outcomes.




Service has always been a cornerstone of Dr. Archibald’s life. Before becoming a physician, he served as a firefighter. Today, he brings that same dedication to patient care, blending advanced surgical skill with a compassionate, individualized approach. Outside the clinic, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and exploring Alaska with his wife and their three children.
